We entertained ourselves by watching movies on the IFE during dinner. the movies on it are updated. Afterwards, we requested our beds to be made and it was pretty comfortable. Each of us had 2 pillows and a thick blanket. The blanket was quite rough and I later asked for the Y blanket which was promptly provided. The comforter made the bed soft and made us fall asleep. There was also the fact that it was 3 am Singapore time.
Toiletries inside the bathroom. The crew did a good job guarding the washroom from business class passengers
The amenties kit consisted only of Sothys products. Other stuff can be obtained from the bathroom.
Mid-flight, I woke up and felt hungry. Had some orange juice and a chicken sandwich while watching Jobs.

Wife is still asleep.
2 hours before landing, we were woken up and breakfast is served. First is the fruit platter with warm bread.
There are mangoes, oranges and pomelos.Fresh and tasty
Cornflakes with choice of skimmed milk, full cream milk and regular milk.
For mains, I chose char siew and wanton noodle soup while the missus chose Belgium waffles. Both choices were great.

As it was our honeymoon, I phoned in earlier and informed them. SQ have kindly gave us a honeymoon cake(chocolate mousse cake) with champagne. They even had a card signed by the crew!

Chocolate pralines to end the meal.

one last look at the cabin before we leave the plane into Munich
We were not disappointed at all. Everything on the flight was done to perfection. The food, the crew and the hard product was top notch. If only the cabin was not a full load, the service would have been even more attentive. Looking forward to fly SQ again on our flight back!

Lounge Review: The Private Room at Changi Airport T3

First part of our honeymoon trip to Europe. I booked 2 x saver F award from Singapore to Munich. We were excited as this would be our first visit to the Private room.

To make the experience more 'first class', we booked complimentary airport taxi from ANZ(redeemable when you spend 1500 on the ANZ travel card). The driver knew where to go when we mentioned the first class check in. It's located just before the drop off area with all the numbers. Be on the lookout when you are reaching and you shld see the sign on the left when you are approaching.

Our invitation cards to the private room

 Orange and Cranberry Juice

 The Buffet area

 Pork Ribs.
 Satay. The missus favourite
 Hummus
US prime Beef burger with Foie Gras and Quail Egg. It's smaller than it looks. 2 bites will settle this.
 Kueh Pie Tee
3 cheese lobster
Seating area with high speed Wifi

First class lounge area
We were in the lounge from 2030 to 2300. Not much guests during this time. After dinner, we moved from the restaurant to the lounge chairs where we dozed off and nearly missed the final call to board! No one came to remind us to board. Something to keep in mind the next time we are here.
Overall, the food and service in the Private Room is simply fantastic.
